Formed is 1995 of few high school buddies, Angava has sense traveled throughout Canada’s north as well as Greenland. Through these festivals, Angava has become well known in the north’s own little underground. With no other Inuit metal bands playing regularly the band has gone through its “get off the stage or play country” in their early years, to “that was a fukn great show”.

Angava has produced 2 full length cd’s and are currently working on their 3rd release due out winter 2006. All recordings have been self produced, mixed and mastered by Angava and Qimuk Music Inc. They have also done work for video productions and licenced music to Nunavik focused productions.
